The VBFLY butterfly valves operate with a quarter turn, and are usually used for handling large flows of gases or liquids, including slurries, but should not be used for throttling for extended periods of time. They are also compact relative to flanged gate and ball valves. Available in wafer or lug style.
They are constructed of cast iron body with bronze disk and EPDM seat, and come with a 10-position handle or gear operator for 8" diameters and larger.
