SILENT GLOBE CHECK VALVE

The cast iron body, center-guided silent check valves use a fully automatic spring assisted discs to eliminate water hammer while preventing flow reversal in the piping.  The spring closure acts faster than swing check valves, which can slam shut with the flow reversal. The globe style body design offers minimal pressure loss and integral flanges.  (The wafer style body is more compact, but has an incremental pressure drops are incrementally not as efficient.)

Standard discs for the VCSIL-IG from Stayflow are nickel plated iron (shown below and in submittal sheet) and also stainless steel.  Bronze is also available, with buna rubber disc seals if needed.  Both 125# and 250# classes are available, in diameters from 2-1/2" to 16".
